The Split revolves around the Defoes – a family of female divorce lawyers in London whose the private lives are as complicated as their work as lawyers – when their estranged father returns home after three decades. In a way, tension is maintained but at the same time, heartfulness is present; a great combination that is bound to keep viewers hooked on.

Leading the pack is Nicola Walker who delivers a great performance of the main character together with Stephen Mangan and Deborah Findlay. All main characters are very discussed and their growing relations implement depth into the show.

Jessica Hobbs and Dee Koppang O’Leary combined how different and fluid the show can be between legal drama and familial drama. Their contribution guarantees that the show’s story is compelling and emotionally charged.
