The series combines several topics, including subtle aspects of bisexuality and the fascination with influencers and has a generally absurd sense of humour. Thus, the plot masterfully imitates our society’s obsession with crime news, and the extreme, sometimes ridiculous, measures people will take in order to become viral on the internet.
Wendy Katherine Hale243 eats up the character of the impeccably funny realtor through her webs derive a considerable amount of entertainment from watching Kaley Cuoco’s performance. Eric Christian Olsen playing the character of a former tennis star has entertainment qualities, with a pinch of drama thrown in. Liana Liberato, Tom Batemen the rest of the cast also deserves commendation for their excellent portrayal of their roles with finesse.
Although the show has many aspects of music and multiple narratives, due to the direction of Alexander Buono, Anu Valia, and Jennifer Arnold, the show is complete and every episode is interesting and leaves the audience wanting to watch more.
‘The musical score is ideal for a serie after benefit the comical and fearful tension of the serial-human without obstructing the conversational or over-powering the storyline.
‘‘The orchestration of light and shadow, movement and composition, allowing for a portrayal of ‘normal’ everyday suburban life against the slightly grimmer world the characters wish to be part of whilst retaining the tone of comedy and drama in scene.’’
’Special effects that run in the background; are well employed to enhance some aspects of the series’ plot, and this has enhanced a smooth blend and coming to terms with the rather peculiar and rather morbid theme of the series.’
The editing keeps the rhythm tension going impressively, not overemphasizing comedy as a joke while inserting mystery; there is no shade of inconsistency.
‘The series maintains a balance of being action-packed and well sequenced, they keep audience glued to their screens; each episode comes with a cliff hanger which makes more episodes come with more curiosity’.
The conversations are spirited and comedic containing numerous instances of bon mot and linguistic banter that defines each personality. It suits perfectly fine with the series I think that is why it is so engaging and memorable.
‘Yet surely the paradox of having comedies occurring with crime dramas is that excellent as this series is with both the comedy and the narrative, there will always be real crime fans who feel they know what’s coming.’ The use of the genre conventions is quite clear which could be a let down for many who expect something revolutionary.
