Located in the very centre of India, ‘Thala’ takes viewers to the world which is full of diverse and complicated leathers. He plot of the story is the unwritten story that connects the fates of citizens who seem to have no relations between them. The film features equally the element of mystery as well as character and emotional complexity augmented by thriller’s approach that allows viewers to search for clues and figure out motives and plans of the characters. It is very much a dramatic piece as its tone varies between tension and pondering while it also keeps suspense as its constant companion. It is very thought-provoking in telling a story and makes one think about the strings that connect individuals.&&Ajay has given a great performance with a complex role where he has portrayed a man torn in his ways both as a soldier and an individual. Mukku Avinash and Viji Chandrashekhar have given good support to the film and they have effectively portrayed the relationships in the play which forms an important aspect of the movie. Rajashekar effectively sets a pace to the movie that puts the viewers on a thriller mode that they never leave.

The choice of music is also excellent with each track perfectly blending with the mystery and suspense that forms the theme and atmosphere of the movie. In part, this is brought about by music that enhances important scenes and their substance.

The theme in ‘Thala’ shooting locations and their visual setting gives the film the richness of Indian cultures, and gorgeous cinematography adds the intrigue of mysterious plot. The settings are not just the background but form a part of the story.

The use of VFX is minimal and practical effects shot to build up realism and location realism is used to keep the authenticity of narrative intact.

The pace of the movie is well built with the editing tempo to keep the suspense element while maintaining a phase for characters’ introspection. Transitions are smooth more than that, they add to the plot getting the viewers involved even deeper.

’Thala’ has perfectly balanced tempo, combining energetic actions with some reflection moments. This is done in a chop.Split screen format The dialog in ‘Thala’ flows well and does not feel forced, the sarcasm is not overdone, left and right; character motives are revealed and the plot progresses. Every line, literally, has a hidden significance and thus aids in making the movie mysterious.

Overall, many aspects are worked out in the movie and ‘Thala’ might prove too complicated for some to handle since it deviates from the concept of a simple plot. Some of the story lines could have been better wrapped up but these do not seriously mar the pot; in fact, they help to tell a more interesting story. It stays with you when the last image fades on the screen, which is perhaps, as far as the messages about the interconnection of the characters and the concept of destiny are concerned, rather fitting. It is impressive what the movie can describe and cause its viewers to think at the same time enjoy.
