Rebel Ridge - Movie Review

Rebel Ridge is about Terry Richmond, a former Marine as portrayed by Aaron Pierre who has risen to fight an oppressive small town. As his attempt to rescue his cousin turns into a menace with the police, Terry is forced into fight against police brutality spearheaded by the evil police chief, Don Johnson. Built around civil asset forfeiture and tipping-point judicial system, the movie explores the right and wrong and the wars of power and will. Picking the story amidst the small town socio-political realities, Rebel Ridge begins on a highly tensioned note. It makes the audience question the police and the justice system and raises the issue of the difference between legal and ethical in Saudi society.
