This is where he manages to bring out the elements of adventures and the tension that is present within the storyline while keeping it hilariously ridiculous at the same time. Unfortunately for Hughes, those elements are not as memorable: the characters, they are all really well thought out and vivid; the settings, the same can be said; and then there are the visuals, which to this day remain impressive.
