In ‘Jurassic Park’ billionaire John Hammond invites a team of scientists to his island which, has become a unique park and dinosaurs have been cloned. However, in one day, a power failure occurs and the visitor finds themselves face-to-face with prehistoric monsters aimed at their destruction; Survival of the Fittest This movie raises questions on the social reality of human bravade against nature, scientific exploitation of the people and the paleo-fearsomeness, which are prohibitively fascinating. The film is exciting in its high pitched build-up to the action while also being contemplative in its quieter moments.

Everyone from Sam Neill to Laura Dern to Jeff Goldblum and Richard Attenborough give wonderful performances that ground the movie. While each of the characters had his or her own view on the events developing into a crisis, the film got the needed depth and personal touch.

The examples of masterful directing from Spielberg in positioning the audience for both wonder and terror. The element most noticeable is his excellent build up of suspense, a skill that effectively takes the audience through an emotional roller coaster while producing a well-knit compelling story and consistent scoring by John Williams. The brilliant use of music augments the scenes of wonder and horror and has now become the hallmark of ‘Jurassic Park’.

The brilliant visuals present dinos’ majestic size and detailed picture, as well as the lush greenery of Isla Nublar, making a visual experience that will remain stunning even today.

The machinery presents a believable world of coexistence of dinosaurs and humans. The sets range from the sophisticated scientific facilities to the park surrounded by a luxurious green landscape and all of them look believably convincing.

As for ‘Jurassic Park’, the best that could be singled out in it is the application of a new generation of special effects which became a model to follow. The flawless combination of animatronics with CGI made the dinosaurs look very realistic for a movie that left its mark.

The dynamics of ‘Jurassic Park’ are absolutely tight. Rhythmically, the action scenes applied staccato, creating dramatic intensity, but the slow scenes suit character development and the film’s plot without losing the heat.

The characters speak and think, sharpening each other’s words with intelligence and humor, and addressing moral questions in the course of the story. There are unforgettable lines, which reflect the spirit of the movie at the same time being imbued with caution.

On the whole, ‘Jurassic Park’ is brilliant; however, some characters’ development can be considered rather skeletal in some ways. While the movie majestically utilizes the concept of spectatorial landscapes, it does so at the cost of character emotions occasionally, but that is a small price to pay for a good movie.

The film ‘Jurassic Park ‘ remains one of the best movies in the cinematic world that explores the feelings and terrifies the audiences. Such a movie challenges and transforms the received approach to presenting the adventures’ themes in movies using the modern technology to enrich the movie art.
