The show’s story centers on eight players who decide to take part in Money Game – a reality show with a winner of 44.8 billion won. Eight contestants are all in debt and money crisis, living in a studio where all they need even the luxuries for the 100 days costs original price divided by thousand and is debited against their probable prize money.

The two ideas of the show are basic need and luxury surviving with a great deal of psychological twist of The 8 Show. It provides a deep insight into social issues of how desperate people are willing to lead a financial life and what all they would do to get such a life.
