A Thrilling Ride Through Aavesham

It describes the events of three engineering students in Bangalore where together they get involved in a clash with seniors and for their help turn to a local gangster Ranga. They add incidents that spontaneously happen in the lives of those students who are influenced by their link with Renga as either distinct trace or mere joke filled sequences.

The main theme of Aavesham is thus depicted as a family oriented drama unraveling the characteristic elements of friendship and loyalty with bouts of action and comedy along its tracks. This explains why the film has elements of comedy, and at the same time has the capacity to be dramatic, all rolled into one seamlessly produced movie of warmth and suspense.

Fahadh Faasil is a delight to watch as Ranga where hits interplay of humor and danger is executed brilliantly. Hipzster who plays as the sidekick offers strong support greatly enhancing the charisma of the other characters Mithun Jai Shankar and Roshan Shanavas. Character interaction brings out the effect of a human interest drama where viewers are being turned into supporters of the characters.

Jithu Madhavan has used the movie as an action thriller without losing out on the human emotions inherent in the plot and characters. He balances humor along with the dramatic aspects quite well, so the story never allowing the audience to get off track.

The music in the movie Aavesham is bright and synthesizes with the movie’s tone. The music plays well to the comedies and the dramatic rhythms and sharpens the overall experience of the movie adding more dimensions to the feelings that accompany all the significant scenes.

Not a word can be said against the direction in Aavesham; the whole picture looks rather dynamic and captures the mood of Bangalore – the Big Bazar of India. Choreography during the action scenes is well done While featuring bright and appropriate color grading to help establish the energetic tone of the story, the visual side of Simpson’s film is impressive. The environment used in Aavesham is realistic and seems that it has been arranged by real people which makes it closer to reality and thereby believable.

The issue of special effects features low usage but they are effective in the episodes they are applied in Aavesham. It also stays closer to practical stunts rather than sharp CGI, not that those are missing, but they add to the realistic action, making the entertaining experience even more real.

The flow of the narrative benefits from the fast pace of the edits; there were no dull moments in the film. Comedy and seriousness are blended well here and there is a form of rhythm that is created through this form of flow, which helps in telling the story and ensures that the audience stays attentive throughout.

Aavesham has a lot of energy productivity when it comes to the transitions between comedy scenes and action scenes. This preservation and balance of the film guarantee’s audiences do not get bored yet keeps them engaged at the right times and frequencies to layer up the story.

The dialogue in Aavesham is crisp, sharp and potentially humorous to match up with the well-timed passionate pace of the movie. Most of the action happens through dialogues between characters, which provide character information, reveal character relations, and drive the plot forward; jokes and emotions are evenly distributed making for a movie with depth.

On one hand Aavesham can be considered very entertaining, on the other the plot sometimes seems quite anticipated, especially when it comes to the protagonist’s conflicts solving part. A few character arcs could be expanded a bit more. However, these are minor flaws within an otherwise engaging film, which does a good job in blending all the related themes. It is enjoyable and speaks to anyone who has ever dealt with complicated feelings toward someone, the audience gets an exciting cinematic ride while feeling sympathetic and engaged.
