Law & Order - TV Series Review

Legal drama, that aims at portraying the legal system of New York where most of its cases happen. Each episode is divided into two parts: the first half depicts one of New York City’s police detectives investigating a possible act of violence; the second half is on the presentation of the suspect in the district attorney office. The narrative structure gives an all-inclusive view of both aspects of the legal system and the intricate detailing of both sides of each case as the teams strive to fight and apprehend criminals.

This series explores justice, the right and wrong, and social justice issues and draws from real-life events. It is characterised by a realistic approach to crime fighting, its main plot is based on detective work and judicial processes.
