Family Guy is the comedy that is based on the imagination of the life in the fictitious town called Quahog, Rhode Island where lives absurd family head Peter Griffin, his wife Lois Griffin and their weird children Meg Griffin, Chris Griffin and Stewie Griffin and their amusing alcoholic dog- Brian. The show comes out with subversive satire.

The series is organized around the principles of adult cartoon, family comedy, and satire. This series has two moods that can be described as ridiculous and satirical in nature making jokes about the uncomfortable issues like sex jokes or issues that are controversy.

Despite the vocally created by the Seth MacFarane all the character are great and unique; the stupidity of Peter, the evils of Stewie and the sarcasm of Brian never to be forgotten. Voices of supporting characters such as Alex Borstein, who voices Lois, and Mila Kunis, who provides the voice for Meg, add to the show’s appeal.

Well-executed by James Purdum and Peter Shin, Family Guy is fast paced comedy show that integrates graphics and humor that is as fast moving as the spoken words. The directors make each episode distinct and timely and comically themed.

The music and sound of the series is versatile and principally features pastiches of different music styles. This combines with the absurdity to incorporate gimmicky jingles that occasionally turn music into a focus of comedy.

For example, the 2D animation style is taken as far as it can go in terms of visual humor. The colorful and strong contrast decides the visibility of settings and character easily to impress.

Production design is realistic evoking suburban family setting but creatively tends to Peter’s imagination of insane world.

Special effects give emphasis on 2D animation and make the show humorous. Cross cutting is standard, and overemphasis on visual jokes is a common feature.

His editing makes Family Guy fluid especially the quick cutting, which aids comedy big time in the show. The transitions themselves help preserve the pacing of the story.

Viewers continue to be entertained easily by the jokes and the continuity of the series’ storyline as it is fast-paced. This fast pace guarantees that every episode is an exciting exemplary of comedy.

There is a section of dialogues in every episode filled with mortar and humor. Every word that is uttered by the characters clarifies their personalities as well as the episodes.

It is not a surprise since Family Guy frequently offends people because of the show’s politically incorrect jokes. However, its unashamed and shameless kind of satirical humor continues to entertain audiences who have a true liking of wit.

The experience of watching Family Guy can be compared to riding a crazy, sick, twisted rollercoaster. It is crass, lewd, and raw; perhaps, one of the most amdpt movements to offer and deliver humor through parody at the flip side of culture and individual peculiarity.
