Black Snow - TV Series Review

Black Snow begins in 1994 with the murder of 17-year old Isabel Baker, which upset the small town of Ashford and dramatically affected the Australian South Sea Islander population.. The case goes cold until 2019 when a time capsule is discovered that gets cold case detective James Cormack on the killers trail. Firstly, the means used in the narrative build the past and present in a contradictory and concealed manner which creates suspense and interest among the viewers.|The series also touches on themes such as loss, community and time and therefore has a rather melancholic, yet rather tense feel to it.
