Art the Clown, the terrifying spirit, captures Miles County on the Christmas Eve and turns the night into a nightmare. The bombing happens in the night; Sienna and Jonathan, the survivors, try to have some normalcy through Christmas with Art’s terror attacks. It has horror elements with a twist of festive in the spirit of Halloween.
For horror, played by Art the Clown, skillfully maintained by David Howard Thornton, varies between twisted comedy and brutal violence. Sienna is played by Lauren LaVera who gives a powerful performance that captures Sustained conversation helps to anchor the fantastical aspects.
Sometimes, the grotesque is taken to excess, which dampens the characters and story’s potential complexity. But it shines as a horror show.
Terrifier 3 is a non-stop horror movie experience that balances gritty comedy with gore that is both uncomfortable and frightening to watch. The Vote technically exposes viewers to quotidian details of Thailand’s southern provinces, but as holiday entertainment a better description would be, it’s a jarring holiday spectacle.
