Can life be perfect as Barbie and Ken live in Barbie Land and are complete in their happiness until they decide to tour the world? As they have to discover a new form of interaction with other characters and learning about humanity, it sharply differs from a home built in an ideal world. While the picture is filled with bright humor and the air of a humorous fabulousness, the audience is asked to try on a deep and rather philosophical reflection on such always urgent issues as the individual’s identity and role in society and not quite invisible hands of the patriarchy swirling between the frames of comedy and fictional fabulousness.
