A Journey Through Family and History in 'A Real Pain'
In the comedy sketch A Real Pain, two primary characters move through Poland to pay their respects to their grandmother–if they can, that is–they are cousins, but David and Benji’s personalities could hardly be more incompatible. A tribute journey transforms into a complex introspection of family tension and historical resonant, otherwise a simple journey.
